* For the 3rd consecutive year and with the vision of reserving a permanent place for Lebanon on the international sports map, bringing people of all walks of life together, and encouraging charity fundraising, the Beirut Marathon Association is currently preparing for the Beirut International Marathon BIM 2005, on Sunday 13 November 2005, 9:00am at Beirut Central District, which includes: International Marathon (42.195Km), 10-Km Fun Run and Mini Marathon (5Km), open for participants between the ages of 11 and 18... In 2004, the BIM brought together 12,000 runners from 66 different countries, and has received extensive media coverage locally and internationally.
