when no Consular Stamps equivalent to the amount of the fees in
Lebanese Pounds, are affixed.
Transfer of Body for burial in
Lebanon
1. The original
copies, plus a photostat copy, of the following documents should be
provided:
- Certified
Copy of Death Certificate issued by the Local Authorities.
- Original
passport of deceased & Lebanese I.D. (I.D. Card or Individual Civil
Registry Record / “Ikhraj Kayd Fardy”).
- Attestation of
non-contagious diseases issued by the authorized Local Health
Authorities (Public Health Medical Officer/ Disease Control).
- In case of
accident or suspicious circumstances, an additional attestation from
the Forensic Pathologist as to the cause of death.
- Embalming
Certificate.
- Burial
Transit Permit issued by the Local Authorities.
- Letter of
sealed casket
- No fee is
required

Self-addressed, stamped (or Priority Prepaid) return envelope.
2. The original documents will be returned to the
applicant and should accompany the corpse.

Transfer of Car (The car should be less
than 5 years old)
The original
copies, plus a photostat copy, of the following documents should be
provided:
- Owner’s Copy
of Lebanese I.D. (I.D. Card or Individual Civil Registry Record /
“Ikhraj Kayd Fardy” or Lebanese Passport).
- Title of
Ownership / Registration.
- A Money Order
or a Bank Cheque in the amount of A$ 16.00 payable to the “Embassy of
Lebanon”.

Transfer of Furniture
The original
copies of the following documents should be provided for attestation:
- Lebanese I.D.
or Individual Civil Registry Record (‘Ikhraj Kayd Fardy’ or Lebanese
Passport).
- A notarized
packing list.
- An affidavit
from the applicant, showing his/her complete address in Australia and
Lebanon and testifying that he/she resided in
Australia
or outside Lebanon for the last three years (at least) and that he/she
intends to reside permanently in Lebanon. This affidavit should be
notarized by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade.
- A written
proof of three years residence in Australia (visa or Australian
passport)
- A Money Order
or a Bank Cheque in the amount of A$ 47.00 payable to the “Embassy of
Lebanon”.
